Leveraging their extensive networks with Producers, Transporters, and Clients, our client has achieved consistent organic growth over the past two decades.

We are actively seeking a recent motivated Graduate in either logistics, supply chain or chemical related subject to join the team as a Graduate Logistics Officer.

Main Responsibilities

  • As a Graduate Logistics Officer you will be providing logistics advice to the business managers
  • Assist the business managers by raising opportunities identified to increase their profits generated or to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their working
  • The Graduate Logistics Officer will add positivity to the customer experience by providing good customer service
  • Learning from the logistics support process to identify and communicate matters of business improvement
  • Monitoring and reporting deal profitability, ensuring that all direct costs, where practicable, are attributed to the deals
  • Monitoring business manager's working capital usage: stock, prepayments, debtors, cash, creditors and accruals
  • Have clear audit trails of all elements of information reporting

Requirements

  • Educated to masters or degree level (2:1 or Above in Logistics, supply chain or chemical related degree)
  • Work experience in a customer service or administration role
  • Excellent communications skills
  • IT literate
  • Strong attitude to work and learning
  • Proactive and can do attitude
