VIQU have partnered with a leading entity in operational technology and digital transformation. Operating in highly regulated and demanding industrial sectors, they have successfully executed pivotal projects across energy, nuclear, renewables, water, and manufacturing domains.

They are seeking a Project Manager to join their Energy Division. The Project Manager will work to manage a series of projects to deliver modifications and upgrades to substation protection and control systems for their clients in their Power Transmission industry.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • End-to-end management of various projects with values typically ranging from £50k - 600k
  • Deliver projects in line with the timescale, specification and budget, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Subcontract management
  • Responsible for all the environmental, health & safety and quality aspects of the projects.
  • Hold regular progress and report meetings with stakeholders.

Essential Requirements of the Project Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Project Manager
  • Understanding of NEC3/ 4 Contracts and how they are used within Project Management / Planning.
  • Proven experience within a one of the following industries: engineering, energy, power transmission or similar highly regulated environment
  • Demonstratable experience scheduling and planning work activities with Microsoft Project.
  • Confident working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • UK driving license and prepared to travel to client sites.
  • Must have demonstrable track record of achieving project timescales, margins, customer satisfaction and quality.
