  • This post is responsible for establishing direct sales of the Olympus Respiratory and Endosonography (RES) product range on the designated territory.

The role involves demonstrating RES equipment to clinical staff within hospitals, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for their portfolio as well as providing advanced product training and ongoing after sales support in field.

You will be responsible for the direct sales and promotion of the Olympus Respiratory and Endosonography (RES) product portfolio on the designated territory. This will involve you demonstrating equipment across your portfolio demonstrating robust technical product knowledge, selling and communication skills.

Key Duties

Sales Management
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
Identify and prioritize sales opportunities, prospects, and key accounts for targeted marketing and sales efforts.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and in-service training sessions for healthcare professionals to showcase the features and benefits of our respiratory and endosonography equipment. Collaborate with internal sales support, marketing, and technical teams to address customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including respiratory therapists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, and other associated healthcare professionals. Conduct regular meetings and communications with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing support and assistance.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering expertise and guidance on our product offerings, industry trends, and best practices in Respiratory and Endosonography procedures.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including respiratory therapists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, and other associated healthcare professionals. Conduct regular meetings and communications with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing support and assistance.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering expertise and guidance on our product offerings, industry trends, and best practices in Respiratory and Endosonography procedures.

Market Analysis intelligence and trends

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to Respiratory and Endosonography equipment and procedures in designated territory.
Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement, new product development, and market expansion.
Using CRM provide regular reports and sales activity updates, market trends, and customer feedback to management and relevant stakeholders.

Training and Education

Stay current on product knowledge, clinical applications, and industry developments related to Respiratory and Endosonography equipment through ongoing training and professional development activities.
Provide training and educational resources to customers and key stakeholders on product features, usage guidelines, and best practices in Respiratory and Endosonography procedures.

Medical background preferred but not essential
Experience within a field sales environment, within the healthcare industry
