Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join the company behind Ireland’s leading and rapidly expanding eCommerce events - eComm Live, The Irish eCommerce Awards & eCommerce MeetUps.

This is a varied role where you will be responsible for leading the marketing efforts for our world class events, and developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that drives attendance and engagement and sponsorship for our events.

You’ll get to work with our global speakers and partners who include TikTok, Gymshark, Sculpted by Aimee, Gym + Coffee, Salesforce, Shopify and many more.

You will be a good team player, working with a small team of Sales, Marketing & Events professionals to achieve our objectives. You will also have the confidence to communicate directly with the sales teams, sponsors and senior management across a range of stakeholders.

The role includes some weekend / out of hours working and some UK & European travel.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for each event, including target audience identification, messaging, and communication channels and marketing budgets;

Oversee and manage event websites, email campaigns, social media and other digital marketing materials;

Plan and execute effective campaigns to drive traffic to event websites including SEO, SEM and paid social;

Collaborate with event management team to ensure all event marketing materials align with event themes and goals;

Recruit and manage agency partners where they are engaged to support the business;

Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions to continually improve results;

Develop and maintain relationships with key industry figures, media outlets and key stakeholders to promote events and increase attendance;

Manage event budgets and ensure all marketing activities are cost-effective and deliver strong ROI;

Manage software systems including ticketing platform, awards platform & events management apps;

Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing and event trends, technologies, and tools to continuously improve marketing efforts and efficiencies in the business.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent on the job experience;

3-5 years of experience in marketing in a fast moving environment;

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once;

Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting;

Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders;

Agency & budget management experience;

Experience with digital marketing, including email campaigns, social media, and website management;

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;

Excellent working knowledge of Hubspot, Wordpress, Canva, SEO, SEM, and Google Analytics;

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
