The Business Management AVP is an intermediate level position responsible for contributing to the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks include supporting the relevant governance forums, attending, and representing the Citigroup Global Markets Europe (CGME) Markets business where required, participation in external & internal audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. This role will include the execution of controls on a regular basis and the implementation and design of new controls as required. May work on ad hoc projects as requested. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the business functions in a seamless and effective manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a robust governance framework for the CGME Markets business
- Document and manage the key activities for risk and controls monitoring for the CGME Markets businesses, including the CGME branches
- Ensure that controls and monitoring methods are adequately designed and executed
- Track and manage relevant issues, CAPs, internal and external audits for resolution and coordination.
- Support the CGME Markets Outsourcing Manager to carry out his regulatory duties, including the approval preparation as well as outsourcing attestation management
- Support the CGME Markets Remote Booking Administrator in the Remote Booking Authorisation Management, Governance and Control Execution as well as in senior management and regulator update preparation
- Support the CGME Markets Business Management in the preparation of risk Assessments, risk inventory maintenance, control performance monitoring and local control execution
- Prepare Senior Management presentations for regular management information requests
- Build excellent relationships between the businesses and various support functions.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks supporting the activities of the business including MS PowerPoint presentations, Excel analysis and OLYMPUS report generation.
- Preparation of meeting materials, e.g. CGME Markets governance meetings, ensuring minutes are accurately recorded and tracking of follow-up items
- Co-ordinate and participate actively in all relevant business projects and initiatives as required.
- Managing, organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant professional experience
- Understanding of Financial Markets a positive
- Experience/understanding of business process reengineering of business modelling concepts, business systems development and analysis.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

**Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate globally across diverse groups
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Data Warehouse knowledge (OLYMPUS) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Ability to work independently in a cross-border environment
- Ability to raise issues on a timely basis and escalate appropriately
- Problem solving mindset, addressing root causes and thinking long term
- Ability to challenge status quo and bring new ideas to the table
