REPORTING TO: London Community Manager
To manage the delivery of all Crime Intervention Programmes. Developing a multitude of interventions and engagement activities within criminal justice and community settings to reduce reoffending and aid community resettlement.

CONTRACT: Fixed term agreement until 31st August 2022, 40 hours per week, any 5 of 7 days (including evenings, weekends and anti-social hours).
Oversee the delivery of all crime intervention programmes including the line management of associated officers, coordinators and sessional staff ensuring all schemes fulfil the funder’s requirements.
Develop and deliver engagement, education and employment interventions that support rehabilitation and community resettlement. Supporting to improve life choices for the offender and their families, helping to reduce reoffending.
Ensure all crime intervention programmes are delivered within budget, and records of all project spend is collated in accordance with the funders requirements.
Build relationships with key community partners, prisons, probation services, youth offending teams, charities, schools, youth services, grass root providers, NGB’s and local authority for the benefit of all crime reduction programmes. Ensuring the programme is meeting the local population needs.
Work with London Community Manager to identify development opportunities and service gaps within existing crime reduction programmes, subsequently approaching suitable partners and/or funders. Attend Local Strategic Partnership meetings to raise awareness of local provision, and network to enhance new funding and delivery opportunities.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE (Here to Win):
Responsible for quality assurance of the programme ensuring the needs of each partner are met.
Regular monitoring of staff performance and development to ensure all are working towards meeting programme objectives and KPI’s.
Lead on all aspects of monitoring and evaluation responsibilities in accordance with the needs of each funder, including liaison with the Premier League as an experienced ‘Views’ user.
Be the Safeguarding Lead for all Crime Intervention programmes, liaising with associated partner Safeguarding Team’s to ensure a clear line of reporting to CFC Safeguarding Hub.
Ensure success stories are captured through working with Chelsea FC Foundation/Chelsea FC media staff.
Complete and submit project reports at 6-month intervals, or as and when required internally or in accordance with the needs of each funder.
Five GCSE’s including maths and English.
Youth Worker Level 2 Qualification or working towards.
FA Coaching Qualification, Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children Certificates.
A master’s degree in an associated subject area.
A strong knowledge of and experience working in community engagement programmes specifically tailored to the provision of at risk young people, ex-offenders, marginalised groups and their families.
Have a good understanding of criminal justice system and awareness of relevant services and charities across London, be able to signpost participants accordingly, and build partnerships.
Experience in line management of full-time and sessional staff members.
Knowledge of the Chelsea FC Foundation, CCO’s and Football Charity Programmes.
Knowledge of local demographic and social needs.
Knowledge of PLCF and PLPFA funded projects.
Knowledge of Monitoring & Evaluation and quality assurance programmes relevant to the industry sector.
