Description
Derivatives Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of a major derivatives/FX project.
- Manage and oversee operations and derivative projects within the banking department
- Develop project plans, including goals, timelines, and budgets
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project-related uncertainties
- Regularly report on project progress to senior management
- Strive for continuous process improvement within the department
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
Profile
A successful Derivatives Project Manager should have:
- A strong background in banking
- Experinece of within a banking function such as opearions, middle office, front office .
- Expereince of capital markets products such as derivatives and FX.
- Excellent project management skills
- Proven experience in managing teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A proactive approach to risk management
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A qualification in project management would be beneficial
