Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities: As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you'll play a crucial role in supporting students of all abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Effective communication is key to success in this role. We're looking for candidates who can communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents alike. We're looking for candidates who are flexible and adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities: Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons: Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students. Support individual and small group learning: Provide targeted support to students who require additional assistance, both in and out of the classroom, to help them achieve their learning goals. Manage classroom behavior: Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing classroom behavior and implementing appropriate strategies to support students' social and emotional development. Assess and monitor student progress: Assist teachers in assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers to support continuous improvement. Contribute to the wider school community: Participate in school events and activities, collaborate with colleagues, and engage with parents and carers to foster strong partnerships and promote student success.
