JOB DESCRIPTION

*Job Title:* *Assembly Fitter/ Field Service Engineer*

*Reporting to**: the After Sales Manager*

*Main purpose of job**: *as Assembly Fitter/ Field Service Engineer you will work as part of our assembly & fitting team.

*Main Duties:*Based in our offices in Castledawson your responsibilities will include:

· Assembly fitting of manufactured & bought in components.

· Use of power and manual tooling.

· Reading and understanding of engineering drawings.

· Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts.

· Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.

· Travelling to customers sites to perform service, inspections, commissioning & system installation works.

*Misc.: *Much of your work will be field based, and you will be required to travel to customers premises in a company supplied van.

As an employee, you will be representing Ulster Shredders at all times. For this reason, you must always conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner.

We will expect you to:

· Be honest, punctual, and dependable.

· Be aware of all company policies regarding Health and safety.

· Know your limits and seek advice/guidance from peers when necessary.

*Hours of work**: *38 hours per week-

Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.30pm.

However, on occasions you will be required to work additional hours for the proper performance of your duties paid at the agreed contracted rate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
