We have an exciting oppourtunity to join a well established constrcution firm to self deliver a solid 5 year pipeline of work for one of the UK’S most established names in commercial property and asset management.

They are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to be based in Chorley but also be flexible to do site visits when required, The Role will primarily involve the management and leadership of all civils design works. The primary developments are industrial projects up to 2million sq ft.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 Procure and provide civils designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codes

 Lead the Civil Engineering design and provide supervision and management

 Interface and management of civils sub-consultants and specialist supply chain

 Ensure the provision of high-quality Engineering services

 Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures  Produce monthly progress reports and present to the senior team

Qualifications & Experience Required:

 Extensive Drainage experience

 Extensive cut and fill design experience

 Experience developing Suds strategies for major developments

 A degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent

 Working knowledge of design software

 Experience with current UK design standards and working practices
