The job title for this role will formally be " National Sales Specialist" but has been adapted for advertising to a Business Development
Employing segmentation and targeting to identify appropriate new business opportunities and then managing through all stages of the integrated sales process (ISP) to successful close, collaborating with all key internal and external stakeholders as required.
Sales lead generation and development
Business planning and management of pipeline through CRM
Working closely with Project Management team at all stages of sales opportunity development, but especially with respect to “Turnkey” projects
Contribution to the development of Customer Solutions marketing and business strategy in collaboration with team
Working alongside sales colleagues from other business units including Surgical Endoscopy, ENT, Urology, Gastro & Respiratory, and Surgical Devices for cross divisional opportunities
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in field-based technical sales roles (Healthcare / Medical Devices sector experience preferred)
Experience of working on capital integration / infrastructure / Healthcare IT projects in collaboration with project managers preferred
Can use standard applications to process, obtain and combine information such as mail merges, databases etc.
able to use data to assess available options and support chosen course of action
Willing to travel on a national level
