Business Development Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Meridian Business Support. This is a field-based position with a requirement to attend our Milton Keynes Head Office on a frequent basis.
This is a national coverage role, and as a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding our presence within the Non-Food and Logistics Market Sectors. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless integration of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new sales opportunities to achieve quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Sales Execution: Initiate contact with potential clients, set up meetings, and conduct compelling product demonstrations.
- Present customised solutions to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value propositions and benefits of our products and services.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the Non-Food or Logistics sectors is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex technical information.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to evaluate options and drive results.
