What You'll Do:
As Category & Trade Marketing Manager, you'll be at the heart of driving commercial success with UK Grocery & Retail national accounts. Your role will be pivotal in achieving the volume, value, and brand market share goals of the business, across a portfolio of product ranges. You will:
- Serve as the critical interface between Brand Marketing and the Commercial Team, ensuring seamless communication and execution of strategies.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of activation and point-of-sale (POS) materials, tailored to specific accounts and channels.
- Utilize data from IRI, Kantar, and EPOS to provide deep insights that inform decision-making and drive business growth.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling category arguments aligned with brand strategies to support Commercial Managers.
- Deliver account-specific POS materials that elevate brand activity and customer promotions.
- Analyse customer EPOS performance to optimize strategies and drive success.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the launch of New Product Development (NPD) projects with data-driven category rationale.
- Contribute essential insights to the annual planning process.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional business projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- You have a proven track record of developing commercial plans that drive growth within UK Grocery & Retail national accounts.
- Demonstrable knowledge and track record within the UK Retail H&B/OTC/FMCG sector and market dynamics
- You’re driven by curiosity, ambition, and a passion for success.
Your Background:
- Either from a National Account Manager/SNAM or Shopper Marketing blue chip or SME branded goods background, you’ll have a proven knowledge of the UK retail Health & Beauty or FMCG sector.
- Experience in providing commercial solutions through data analysis and working within cross-functional teams.
