The Procurement Partnership Limited (TPPL) are a leading provider of Procurement products and services to local authorities, social housing, and the wider public sector. Located in Cambridgeshire, we are a uniquely positioned growing business with a team of enthusiastic and forward-thinking individuals, allowing us to take a versatile and commercial approach to public procurement.
Established for 20 years, we have over 950 public organisations utilising our services, which primarily cover the fleet category including contracts to supply vehicles such as cars, vans, minibuses, refuse trucks, specialist, and heavy goods vehicles via outright purchase and a range of finance, leasing, and daily rental options. Our solutions also provide members with other associated goods and services such as fleet ancillary products, grounds maintenance/plant equipment and a national building materials DPS.
 
With a growing number of customers utilising our products and services, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic, well organised, career-minded individual with a proven record of business development and sales within the public sector, specifically focused on building materials and construction.
 
The successful individual will have a strong understanding of social housing organisations, and the environment in which they operate. With their understanding of the sector, the individual will have a focus on how TPPL can deliver tangible benefit for social housing members. The individual will demonstrate a track-record of working with senior decision makers in the sector, particularly executives with responsibility for asset management. The range of services and products offered to our customers are complex, and constantly evolving, therefore it is essential applicants can demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and be adaptable to suit the agile approach we apply to our business.
 
Essential skills - qualities
o Knowledge – of the social housing sector, asset management, and an understanding of the public procurement rules
o Interpersonal skills – relationship building and account management
o Entrepreneurial spirit - ability to recognise and convert business opportunities and a desire for continual self-improvement
o IT Literate - Proficient using MS Office programmes and IT systems
 
A competitive starting salary
