Harlow based with hybrid working and an early finish on Fridays
Copello are working with a defence technology company who are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to work within the Systems team and be part of the wider Systems & Products business unit, to produce Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.
You would be expected to provide Systems Engineering expertise across the product lifecycle, from requirements capture, Analysis, Design through to testing, qualification, and certification activities.
To support to the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team leadership for customer support, production support and obsolescence maintenance of our established products. 
~Requiring the management of project requirements, generation of technical documentation. Systems Analysis and Design work and participation in technical design reviews.
~Undertake development studies and investigation activities involving product performance and interfacing with various internal stakeholders.
~To work in a highly technical environment, supporting the team as well as working autonomously, laboratory work will be involved for product testing.
~Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to project completion.
~Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar industry certification.

Experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset
~Experience with RF (including Antennas) and Digital Hardware design and test
~Experience with SysMl or UML in a Systems Engineering environment
~Experience with configuration management systems
