The Security Services Architect will be part of a team whose members on average have more than 20 years working with Oracle technologies. This team's core responsibility is guiding clients on implementation of security best practices as it relates to Oracle products. This role will be expected to contribute to defining and delivering Spinnaker Support’s approach to security within the 3rd party support and managed service markets. 20+ years experience working with Oracle technology.
~12+ years experience as Oracle Applications DBA
~Security or hardening experience; Security certified preferred

Actively participate in developing complete solutions to complex security support-related issues and requests
Manage, scope and execute security projects for support, services and consulting
Be resourceful in working with team, look for new ideas, processes to help the team work more efficiently.
Work closely with managers from other teams and regions in supplying services, support and consulting resources within the security domain
Ability to effectively communicate, work with and liaise between customer core team members (users, management, IT), internal support team members (management, sales and support) and other contractors
Exceptional communication skills and issue/project management skills
Familiarity of the security architecture across multiple deployment platforms (network, firewall, computer, storage, database and application)
Understanding of common network topologies and their application to security mitigation.
Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
