1956 Individuals are a business to business product that was born out of the interactive technology that we created as part of our video game project within SKC Games Studio. SKC Games Studio, an independent video game developer based in the UK. Our mission is to revolutionise the gaming industry by delivering unparalleled entertainment that utilises cutting-edge technologies and immerses players in new and exciting environments and worlds. Our games are designed to provide both entertainment and thought-provoking content. In 1956 the Dartmouth Conference marked the birth of AI as a field of study
It explored how machines could simulate human intelligence
It is credited for sparking decades of research and development in the field


SKC games are looking for a Character 3D Artist who can create high quality realistic characters for 1956 Individuals projects as well as an upcoming unannounced sci-fi game. The Character Artist ensures that the creative content of the project is delivered to the highest standards. In most cases, you collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to ensure on-time and high-quality achievement of our milestone goals. The ideal candidate proactively seeks opportunities to elevate the look and feel of the project, embraces constructive feedback, and thrives in a highly collaborative and open environment. Create high quality realistic 3D characters that meet the art direction and technical criteria.

Great portfolio showcasing realistic character art.
~ Good sense of human and animal anatomy and proportions.
~ Confident sense of form and shape combined with demonstrable 3D sculpting experience.
~ Strong knowledge in industry standard art authoring software.
~ Knowledge of character animation setup and rigging.
~ Experience working with game engines.
~ Have passion for games and understand game dev processes.


Technical Animation Skills (Rigging, skinning, scripting).
Worked in full production cycles on a shipped title.
Concept Art Skills.
