Job Description Our global consulting client's Financial Services Deal Strategy & Value Creation practice is looking for an Associate Director who specialising in either the insurance or retail / commercial banking sectors and has experience of at least one of their core propositions; Growth Strategy, Deal Strategy, Cost and Operational strategy and/or Enterprise-wide Transformation.
This team works closely with c-suite and senior executives to identify and execute transformation opportunities that add and protect value for shareholders, employees and society. As the world continues to face unprecedented levels of change through digitalisation, regulation and post-COVID ‘normalisation’, they have experienced remarkable market demand for their core services of i) Enterprise-wide Transformation; ii) Performance Improvement and; To be an effective Associate Director within our Strategy & Performance Transformation applicants will be expected to....
Build deep client relationships and be seen as the 'go to' person and a trusted advisor by senior executives.
Support the identification, pursuit and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong Strategy Group, internal firm and external network.
Understand risk and ensure that Firm's risks management frameworks are adhered to.
Inspire, motivate coach and develop project team members and appraisees, and give constructive 360-degree feedback.
Work experience:
Detailed understanding of the value drivers within insurance or banking (retail or commercial).
Track record of leading complex projects in insurance / retail banking or Insurance with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting or corporate environment.
Experience of managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders.
Demonstrable ability to build and commercialise relationships with senior executives.
Strong academic track record.
Ability review and assess large volumes of technical data and distil the key strategic insights.
