**Job Title**: Associate/Associate Director

**Location**: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company is currently looking for an Associate/Associate Director to work with a specialist insurance broker and advisor.

**Company Overview**:
TGRC has partnered up with a specialist insurance broker and advisor within M&A to hire into their Energy and Infrastructure team. The team have a particular strength in renewables and low-carbon technologies. As their success in the E&I space goes from strength to strength, they are looking for a mid-level associate dedicated to E&I transactions who can grow into a senior leading role over time.

**Job Purpose/Key Requirements**:
Looking for a highly motivated individual with at least 3 years PQE in private M&A in the energy and infrastructure sector to assist in growing this part of the business. The individual should be especially used to working on due diligence reports and advising on SPAs and other associated documents.
- Ability to work with a team with a market-leading insurance M&A practice
- Ability to learn and develop across a range of, jurisdictions, sectors and industries within E&I
- Grow sector experience and learn about the insurance industry
- Ability to develop management and leadership skills
- Ability to grow and develop a book of business
- Ability to join a young and growing team which is financially well supported in a growing industry

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:
**1. Assist the team in delivering best-in-class service, including**:

- Advising clients on all transaction liability insurance solutions available in the market;
- Structuring transaction liability insurance solutions to meet client's needs; and
- Effect the placement of transaction liability insurance policies.
- To nurture and grow existing clients and identify and target prospective relationships with the view to independently generate revenue for the firm
- To understand the M&A insurance market and foster and maintain good working relationships with all insurers in this class of insurance
