Permanent Contract
Ensure that all contracts are compliant with legislative and other regulatory prescriptions
Ensure that Thurrock Borough Council, as a Waste Disposal Authority, complies with all Government prescriptions, guidance and regulations.
Ensure that contract processes are performance led and meet the needs of the Directorate.
Actively explore the potential for development of joint contractual arrangements with strategic partners and other external public or private sector organisations.
Represent the Council externally as appropriate in regard to service improvement and performance benchmarking.
Manage Commercial waste Contracts & Service Level Agreements
Ability to manage projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Strong budget management skills
Experience of managing multiple complex contracts within a partnership and performance management framework
Experience of contract procurement regulations and best practise.
