Who are Windsor Waste?
Windsor Waste Management is a family run, market leader in the asbestos disposal and hazardous waste management industry and significant providers of wider waste management services. Please note that the company does not offer sponsorship and therefore candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.
Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for LGV HGV Class 1 drivers. Professionally driving and operating an allocated vehicle that is assigned by the Transport department daily while ensuring an efficient and effective collection, transportation and disposal of customer waste
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report all defects which may affect the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle or equipment immediately to the office
All Duty of Care/Waste Transfer Notes are completed promptly and accurately
Use and maintain your vehicle and equipment in accordance with the training given
Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy and the Company rules including reporting any unmarked hazards, near misses or accidents and wearing the correct PPE
A full UK driving license with LGV - Class1 (only HGV driver)
ADR Class 9 highly desirable
Commercially aware and takes pride in the quality and standard of their work
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
