About The Role
HomeServe are currently recruiting for a Senior CRO Manager to join the Digital Delivery Team in Walsall. The successful candidate will have proven experience of driving digital optimisation and conversion improvements through leading CRO programmes.
Analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities are also essential. Including specific usability research & analytics experience, and multivariate testing, including planning, implementing and presenting results to stakeholders at all levels.
We work in a hybrid way, mostly remote with a requirement to travel into our Walsall office once a week to work with the team. With that in mind you will be located within a convenient commute to Walsall.
The Digital Delivery Team is accountable for the delivery of digital activity across HomeServe Membership Ltd, including strategy, transformation, new functionality, maintenance and optimisation. The team strives to evolve our core digital capability, transforming the organisation to embrace and drive its adoption as a digital first organisation.
Formed in a matrix structure across Product, Change, Technology and Digital Optimisation, the team is accountable for building compelling online capability and journeys across the digital estate, in order to deliver the very best outcomes for our Customers and the Company.
ROLE PURPOSE
To lead the optimisation of digital journeys to increase conversion across the website. Work with the CRO agency to lead the CRO programme
and internal partners to ensure implementation of the Conversion KPI.
This role is accountable for driving digital growth through optimisation of digital journeys and UX to deliver conversion improvements in line with Marketing KPIs.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop, lead and own the the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) roadmap to drive digital journey improvements and increase conversion & KPIs across HomeServe websites and digital fulfilment channels
  • Manage the relationship with the CRO agency to deliver a programme of CRO aligned to achieving business KPI targets and ultimately driving improvements in digital conversion
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (internal & external) to identify and prioritise UX pain points across the various existing & new user journeys & products aligned to business KPIs and targets
  • Maximise opportunity to convert web traffic by defining, leading and implementing a programme of initiatives working in partnership with the wider Digital Marketing and Digital Scrum teams
  • Drive a digital best practice approach, principles & standards, and influence adoption across wider HomeServe UK business
  • Be the CRO expert lead across all digital activity working alongside the wider Marketing Department and Digital Delivery teams and strive to continuously enhance the Customer Experience
  • Concept and design intuitive experiences that meet business & stakeholder objectives and exceed user expectations
  • Stay at the leading edge of trends in Digital Optimisation and UX design
  • Deputise for Head of UX and Digital Content when required
About The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
Essential:
  • Proven experience of driving digital optimisation and conversion improvements through leading CRO programmes
  • Extensive experience of UX design across web, mobile and app
  • Analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, including specific usability research & analytics experience, and multivariate testing, including planning, implementing and presenting results
  • Expert skills in user-centred design solutions with measurable results, acrossdevices & platforms
  • A track-record of creating intuitive site functionality, personalisation & interaction, site architecture, user interfaces & navigation
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, with a proven ability to collaborate with a pragmatic and confident approach and ability to influence in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong advocacy for a customer-centric approach and enthusiasm for all things digital
  • Digital agency management experience
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of CRO testing platforms
  • Experience reporting using Google Analytics
  • Understanding of front end development technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience working with Agile scrum teams
  • Knowledge of Web browsers, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and CMS
  • A good understanding of Web Accessibility and WCAG guidelines
