Join Our Team

We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our HR Team. You will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the HR department and wider business. You will ensure HR processes run efficiently, produce accurate reports and letters, monitor compliance with company policies, maintain accurate employee records and support timely production of all payroll updates. This role is 30 hours per week, the hours to be spread across 4 to 5 days per week between Monday to Friday. This is a remote role, however, occasionally you will have to attend our Chippenham office.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Responsibilities & Accountabilities include (but not limited to):

  1. Provide top class service to all HR customers across all businesses we support through providing on-time information and advice
  2. Ensure timely production of all payroll updates each month including overtime and Out of Hours Allowances
  3. Manage onboarding process for new starters, send on-boarding packs, schedule compulsory new starter inductions and host Induction process for each new starter. Manage the new starter surveys.
  4. Recruitment support – ensure Right to work checks completed, add new starters to HRIS, Payroll and Finance systems. Support recruitment, when necessary.
  5. Maintain annual leave updates/calculations, resolve queries, make amendments in HRIS.
  6. Produce HR reports and letters (incl. maternity, paternity, pay increases, any offer letters etc)
  7. Provide administrative support for company benefit schemes - renewal of all benefits, medical policies, GLA, GIP, Travel insurance).
  8. Update of HR Information Systems and Finance Systems with any changes such as pay and personal data as necessary
  9. Update HR SharePoint page – upload new information and documents following renewals or changes, including newsfeed.
Skills and Experience

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced HR Administration role; CIPD qualification desirable
  • ‘Can do’ outcome focused attitude and approach
  • Pro-active approach to work and problem solving, and the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur
  • Literacy and numeracy skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel packages is essential
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and principles of good HR practice is desirable
  • Experience of using HRIS, preferably Workday would be an advantage
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • High level of personal integrity, demonstrated by displaying respect and empathy for others and being consistent, open and honest
