The Role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Marketing Technology team. As a Systems Administrator with expertise in AWS, you will play a critical role in managing, monitoring, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will be contributing to the overall stability, performance, and security of our environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, CloudFront and other relevant services
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks
  • Proficient in using the terminal for system administration tasks, system monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, system configurations, and disaster recovery plans
  • Available for On-Call rotation for system outages, incidents, and other technical issues
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to assess support requests, project work, and implement best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience

Other qualifications:

  • Experience with infrastructure, tools and supporting ecosystem. Such as Tomcat, Jetty, Apache, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Elasticsearch etc.
  • Experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and it's architecture
  • Experience with development tools and task-runners (Webpack, Parcel etc.)
  • Experience with Git or alternative version control systems and standard methodologies
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with Docker containers
  • Agile development practices
  • Working Jira, or other task/bug tracking systems
