We are recruiting for a Production Team Leader for a global manufacturing company in Lymington, Hampshire. The company is a family owned/run business that produces innovative Tapes and Sealants that are supplied to some of the world's biggest names in the construction industry.
For 50 years they have been designing, engineering and producing tapes that have found their way around the world from the manufacturing and sales HQ in Lymington. Continuous development in Research and Design and manufacturing technologies keeps them at the forefront of tapes technology.
75per hour with further progression opportunities and reviewed after 3 months.
Annual salary equating to £34,840 per annum based on 40 hours per week.
Hours / Rotating Shift pattern:
*Early Finish on Friday*
Initial training will take place on 8am-4pm shift for 6-8 weeks before moving onto the rotating shift pattern.
Mix planning, stock management, training and labour planning are all key in the success of the Mix area.
Ensure the safe and efficient production of mix on time in full as dictated by the extruder floor plan.
Look to improve the labour utilisation within the Mix area, through cross training and accurate labour planning.
Ensure raw materials are well organised and well managed through regular and accurate stock takes.
Communicate with all other functions, factually and in a timely manner at the morning planning meeting and production meeting.
Improve housekeeping standards across the Mix area.
5 + years of Factory experience in a fast-paced environment.

~ Accurate recording of daily activity, material usage and production performance.
