We provide services that support people to lead an independent life within their own home and community. The role:

You will report to the Chief Executive and line manage the HR Officer and HR & Business Support Administrator.

You will be able to work autonomously using your own initiative with a professional, approachable manner and require a high degree of independence and flexibility.

Main responsibilities:

· Promote and maintain the highest standards of HR management to maximize the recruitment and retention of staff across the organisation and supporting SIL’s strategic objective to grow

· Develop and maintain an excellent culture of support and employee engagement that supports SIL’s aim to be the Employer of Choice in its chosen areas

· Draft and implement an annual HR operational plan aligned to SIL’s strategic objectives

· Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and

· Update own knowledge and liaise with the employment law advice service in order to provide HR advice to Managers

  • Work with the Senior Management Team to develop the wider strategic development of the organisation
  • Be part of the Senior On-Call rota
