Prospero Teaching is currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a lovely school located in Great Barr.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have good experience working with students with SEN and must be confident in supporting on a 1:1 and small group basis, inside and outside of a classroom setting.

You will also need some level of resilience as some of the children may display challenging behaviour.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
· Type of work - SEN TA Support.
· Start date - ASAP.
· Contract type - Temporary
· Full time
· Hours - Monday - Friday 8.EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent is preferred
· Previous experience working in a UK school or alternative provision
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential)
· Up-to-date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential)
· Up-to-date FGM & Behaviour management training (essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold an enhanced child and adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child-related references
