Academics is seeking a dedicated and passionate Engagement Officer to join a dynamic Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people, helping them to re-engage with education and achieve their full potential.

Develop and implement engagement strategies to support students' academic and personal development.
* Work closely with students, parents, and staff to identify barriers to learning and develop tailored support plans.
* Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and effectiveness.

A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and challenges.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education, youth work, or a related field (preferred).

Competitive weekly pay rate of £500-£600, depending on experience.
* Opportunity for a permanent contract with the school following successful completion of the temporary contract.
