Are you a Security Professional who loves what you do and has a real passion for the Security industry? This role is for the Head of Site Security that will deliver a robust Security framework that protects Airbus from the prevailing threat environment whilst protecting Airbus bottom line.

You will be responsible for the operational security activities including self delivered and third party security solutions. Youll be given the flexibility and responsibility to adapt these activities to best fit your needs and the needs of the business.

This role will be the site focal point for all physical security matters by being part of the site leadership team, developing stakeholder relationships that enable security subject matter into practice.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Be the site focal point for all physical security matters by being part of the site leadership team, developing stakeholder relationships that enable security subject matter into practice.

  • Be intimate with the assets, industrial processes, logistics and supply chain of the site and develop a strong relationship with the site management.

  • Lead and Manage projects and people, directly and indirectly as part of an extended multifunctional team or the physical security team. Manage task and team prioritisation to ensure the site roadmap is enabled for delivery.

  • The team structure is flat with this role not having direct reports. However, the leadership approach is one of agility and managing deliverables through people, as this role is empowered to lead and manage.

  • Develop and delivery of a comprehensive Site Security Plan (Risks and Mitigations)

  • Plan and/or support all required or requested surveillance (audit) activities for the site.

  • Manage internal security workforce and contract of security suppliers to ensure the adequate level of security of the premises covering in priority preventive and then immediate, reactive measures.

  • Deploy at site level the Airbus security awareness campaign and extend it to local needs.

  • Support both Plant start of shift and team Start of shift meetings, developing and improving the stakeholder management network.

  • They must also ensure the site is prepared for the possibility of catastrophic events, or related significant security incidents.

ABOUT YOU

  • Level 5 qualification in Security management or equivalent experience

  • A background in security management with commercial or industrial sector

  • Demonstrable application of the use Security Risk Assessment to define a mitigation measure

  • Complementary skills in risk management and emergency planning

  • Must be able to pass UK Civil Aviation Enhanced vetting and training.
