Marketing Manager

Job Description A new role in SMT GB’s Business Development team, reporting to the Business Development Director you’ll play a crucial part in managing and overseeing our communication strategies and activities. With 2 direct reports, you’ll be collaborating with stakeholders on brand enhancement and developing a comprehensive marketing communication strategy. Responsible for ensuring consistency in our brand messaging, you’ll be building positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage and generate publicity: Overseeing digital marketing initiatives and creating engaging content across media channels; social media, website, press releases, email campaigns, marketing material, and press releases
Conducting market research and providing analysis of data and findings
Working closely with cross-functional teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment and integration of communication efforts
With proven experience in marketing communications and B2B, ideally from the automotive or construction sectors. Ability to create and execute online marketing initiatives and social media campaigns
Project Management skills and ability to work on numerous projects concurrently
Commercial awareness
Travel and occasional overnight stays will be required along with a valid driving licence for the UK.
