Job Description Service Transition Analyst

£Service Transition Analyst is required to join a leading Utilities client to deliver an Enterprise service transition initiative.
As a Service Transition Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of service transition activities across the programme.
This role is crucial to ensuring that all new and modified systems are seamlessly transitioned into live service with minimal disruption. You will play a key role in managing the service acceptance process, creating ITIL-based checklists, engaging with various workstreams, and overseeing the transition process.
Key Responsibilities for the Service Transition Analyst includes:
Service Transition Management: Own the daily operations of service transition management for the programme.
Service Acceptance Checklists: Develop and implement common, fit-for-purpose ITIL-based service acceptance checklists.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Solution Build workstreams to ensure that service transition requirements and checklists are integrated into the end product delivery.
Risk Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate service transition risks and issues.
Status Tracking: Monitor and report on the service acceptance status for all products.
Product Transition: Ensure the smooth transition of new or amended products into live service with minimal impact.
Cutover and Hypercare Planning: Participate in the planning and execution of cutover and hypercare exercises.
Required skills and experience for the Service Transition Analyst includes:
Service Transition Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Service Transition or Service Introduction Analyst.
Strong technical knowledge and experience from working closely with architects, development teams, and service providers.
ITIL Processes: Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing ITIL processes.
ServiceNow: Preferable experience with ServiceNow.
Cloud and Agile: Preferable exposure to Cloud and Agile-based delivery environments.
