WTA Media - Key Account Manager
Build and maintain strong relationships with WTA’s key Media clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving efficiencies and growth. Commitment to exceptional customer service, including prompt responsiveness & clear communication is vital to this role.
Account Development and growth: Identify opportunities to expand business within existing key accounts. Develop your own account strategies and plans to increase revenue, profitability, and market share and share with the Key Account Director. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as the procurement team and pricing team, sales & marketing, to maximise our media accounts growth potential.
Focus on customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring high-quality service delivery through the implementation of agreed standards and processes. Strategic Planning: Conduct thorough account analysis, market research, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic account plans. Set clear objectives, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor progress towards achieving targets.
Negotiation and Sales: Collaborate with media clients to negotiate service level agreements and pricing. Maintain and develop the freight calculator to ensure that our media clients have access to rates.
Present product/service offerings such as Logixboard effectively, highlighting its value proposition and benefits. Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
Management of any WTA Media tender processes or contract negotiations in conjunction with the Key Account Director.
Ringfence and grow the client through proactive service excellence, high level communication and new initiatives using contracts and IT interfaces where possible. Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including the pricing and procurement team, sales & marketing, operations, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to key accounts. Support the finance team with payment management as requested.
Work closely with the Director of People and Culture to support any media training efforts to help grow knowledge across the media team. Develop close relationships with overseas offices, agents and printers, regular review meetings to be agreed upon both face-to-face and via Teams. Work closely with our head of procurement to ensure that SLA’s for key domestic suppliers are continuously being met. Reporting and Analysis: Continually develop external management reporting using KPI’s and in conjunction with WTA operations and our media clients. You will also need to track and analyse key account metrics, such as revenue, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends. Generate a monthly report and present an update to the Key Account Director on account status, progress, and opportunities.
Key Account Managers require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, business acumen, and a customer-focused mindset. They should be adept at building relationships, developing and growing the accounts, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Additionally, proficiency in sales techniques, market analysis, and being proficient in HubSpot is required for the role.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
