Position Overview: In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the usability and human factors aspects of our medical devices meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for individuals holding a degree in Medical Engineering or a related field. Responsibilities: Conduct user research, usability testing, and human factors analyses to inform the design and development of medical devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and regulatory affairs, to integrate human factors considerations throughout the product development lifecycle. Generate and maintain usability engineering documentation, including use specifications, task analyses, and usability test plans. Participate in the development and execution of usability test protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Analyse and interpret usability test results, providing actionable recommendations to improve product design and user experience. Stay informed about industry trends, human factors standards, and regulatory requirements related to medical devices. Qualifications: Minimum of two years of experience in a Usability Human Factors Engineer role within the medical devices industry. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field. Solid understanding of human factors engineering principles, usability testing methodologies, and relevant standards. Proficiency in tools and software used for human factors research and analysis. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
