Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software and App Developer to join our dynamic team at Painting Pixels Full-Service Digital Marketing Agency. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications and mobile apps that align with our clients’ needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software solutions that meet client specifications and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse project requirements.
  • Design user interfaces and user experiences for applications and mobile apps.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software and app development.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members when necessary.
  • Document code, processes, and project specifications for future reference.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Software and App Developer or similar role.
  • Experience with mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, UI/UX design principles, and database management.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based services and deployment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, etc.
  • Previous experience working in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
