Senior Bioinformatician (Proteomics)


Introduction

BioTalent has teamed up with an innovative biotechnology company located in West London to search for a Senior Bioinformatician. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with both internal and external partners to develop and conduct multimodal data analyses that support drug discovery.


This role will offer you:

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing, testing, and enhancing analysis pipelines, particularly for proteomics data.
  • Refining key questions, articulating concepts, needs, and potential solutions clearly, and effectively communicating results to diverse teams.
  • Ensuring data and analytics integrity by adhering to best practices.


You will bring the following:

  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology, or a related field, with over 3 years of post-degree experience
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in R and/or Python, along with experience in cloud services like AWS, containerization, workflow languages, and SQL databases.
  • Experience in multi-omics and data integration
  • Extensive expertise in proteomics, including familiarity with mass spec technologies, TMT labeling, and targeted proteomics.
