Join our Ecommerce Team as Online Marketing Assistant. This role is a hybrid working role with attendance required at our Slough office on a weekly basis.


The Online Marketing Assistant will report to the Director of Ecommerce, you will be involved in the creation and implimentation of marketing campaigns across key retail partners. You will be responsible for weekly reporting of KPIs across all retail partners utilizing tools and softwares provided to help improve the visibility of TCL online.


You will be comfortable working within a team, but able to work independently, the candidate should be confident in dealing with data and technology.


Key Accountabilities:

Elaborate and execute the online operation plan for UK & Ireland aligned with the ecommerce team from China and EU, KAMs, Ecommerce Director and the Country Manager.

Supporting sales out initiatives and optimisation at online retail together with UK & Ireland sales team with a focus on TV, Soundbar, Major Domestic Appliances.

Make detailed monthly plans and review progress for each marketing topic with Ecommerce Director.

Manage TCL brand in all customers online visibility.

Collaborate internally and externally to improve TCL online visibility.


Job Duties

Execute the customer specific online marketing plans, working in collaboration with colleagues on the messaging and artworks for various activities. Check that all activities are on brand and inline with guidelines.

Ensure that all agreed activities are delivered, captured and maximized with each activity.

Work to increase visibility of TCL products across retailer web-sites. Also giving consideration to the consumer journey to the TCL product detail page (PDP) and how this could be improved.

Deloy the full content package across all retailer sites to increase conversion rates.

Work with retailers to create engaging PDPs and shop-in-shop style environments.

Creation of a master product content database to be the foundation of monitoring and improving retailer content compliance.

Implement SEO improvements in collaboration with retailers on their web and marketplace platforms.

Maintenance of the online and instore ‘where to buy’ database, improving the customer journey to increase traffic online and in-store.

Working in partnership with the Ecommerce Director, KAMs and wider ecommerce team to analyse retailers online proposition and implement improvements.

Pro-actively suggest improvements for the ecommerce business using market intelligence, data and tools available.

Produce monthly/quarterly review presentation to demonstrate progress within allocated work/retail accounts.


Experience Required:

-Ideally, previous experience in a promotion-led marketing environment within a sales-focused business or agency. We will consider a University Graduate who has studied relevant topics and has placement experience.

-Candidate’s knowledge of E-commerce and marketing techniques will be of benefit.

-Marketing qualifications an advantage.


Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of the consumer electronics industry is an advantage but not essential. Training and support specific to industry will be provided.

Be fully adept with Microsoft Office programs and website functionality and maintenance ability.
