Rate: £24.00 p/h



About the Role:

Pontoon Solutions is partnering with our client to find an experienced and proactive Invoicing and Revenue Analyst to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate who brings strong finance expertise, autonomy, and experience in complex billing processes. You will play an essential part in maintaining the accuracy of client invoicing, analyzing data for revenue assurance, and supporting new client onboarding through UAT testing.


Key Responsibilities:


• Review and update the Charging Database, preparing and validating fees for invoicing.

• Independently manage client charges by collating necessary information and checking calculations prepared by offshore teams.

• Address client queries and ensure a high level of accuracy to prevent revenue leakage.

• Perform financial reviews to identify any discrepancies, ensuring revenue assurance.

• Update and refine procedures as processes evolve to enhance clarity.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new client onboarding, validating changes, and identifying potential issues.

• Take responsibility for aspects of the monthly invoicing cycle, including accruals and invoice postings.

• Analyse local market charging data and prepare reports as needed.


Candidate Requirements:


• Proven experience in invoicing or complex billing processes, with confidence in delivering tasks autonomously.

• Strong financial knowledge and practical experience; accounting qualifications are advantageous but not required.

• Background in environments with bespoke client schedules and manual data manipulation.

• Skilled in data analysis with an ability to quickly spot variances and discrepancies.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.


Work Environment:


• The team follows a hybrid work model, with three days in the office and two days from home each week.

• Flexibility is needed as the team’s office days may vary to ensure coverage and desk availability.

• You will work closely with both experienced and junior team members and collaborate regularly with the finance team.
