Are you passionate about Real Estate and pride yourself on your analytical mindset and logical approach to problem-solving? If so, we’re looking for a Junior Analyst to join our Investment and Property Management team.

This role's focus is to support the Investment and Property Management team through rigorous investment analysis, data collection, structuring & modelling, and client reporting. The role will involve financial, carbon emissions and water use data analysis to enable effective property investment management, efficient & reliable investment underwriting and the long-term transition of portfolios under management towards net zero carbon operation.

The post-holder will be engaged in the preparation of regular and ad hoc asset, investment analysis and client reporting. The successful candidate will also be motivated to learn & gain experience through engagement across the IPM team & the wider Bidwells business, and through exposure to ongoing active property investment management. Experience in all areas isn’t expected but willingness to learn is.

Our Investment and Property Management team is an integral part of our Business. They have a focus on managing long-term endowment funds and therefore look at management from a long-term perspective, for some of the country’s leading clients. For most instructions we have a full asset management remit to include rent reviews, lease renewals, development and buying and selling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modelling for various projects.
  • Perform portfolio analysis, sensitivity, and scenario testing.
  • Prepare regular property portfolio client reports and performance calculations.
  • Respond to ad hoc client data analysis requests.
  • Collect and analyze energy, water, and waste use data for carbon footprint reporting.
  • Construct cashflow models and development appraisals.
  • Track ongoing pipeline deal flow and other internal processes.


Essential Skills:

  • Strong written and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of core investment principles and an interest in real estate.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.


Highly desirable skills:

  • Working knowledge of core accountancy principles.
  • Interest in the net zero carbon agenda and its impact on real estate.
  • Prior experience in real estate or accountancy.
  • Experience in financial modelling and working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with property software applications such as MRI and Argus is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data presentation and reporting using Microsoft PowerPoint and PowerBI is desirable.
