Your responsibilities in your new role as the General Manager
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments function seamlessly.
- Foster a warm and welcoming environment for guests, maintaining the highest standards of service throughout their stay.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team, with a focus on recruitment, retention, training, and development.
- Implement and manage effective cost control measures, ensuring the hotel operates within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Regularly communicate with the Managing Director, providing updates on hotel performance and addressing any operational challenges.
- Oversee multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and others, ensuring flawless service delivery across all areas.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Manager in a luxury or 5-star hotel setting is essential.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Must be willing and able to relocate to the Scottish Highlands.
- Demonstrated success in cost control, team training and development, and managing a luxury hotel environment.
