Role Intention and Impact:


As our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will support the Managing Director of Team RH and TLC in translating the overall vision to a clear strategic plan. In addition, you will lead the day to day operations as CEO.


To support the day to day, you will need to excel at setting long term goals and overseeing the execution of these across all departments. This will be done with effective collaboration from the C-Suite, which consists of CFO and CBO, to achieve smooth operations and objective achievement.


Given our current success through social media, we have plans for further growth and market expansion. You will have the experience and expertise to lead the company through such phases.


You will be expected to provide leadership and stability top down, specifically towards the C-Suite and championing excellence for all Team Members (employees). Therefore supporting our Chief Finance Officer and Chief Brand Officer.


Taking over this responsibility from the current business owner will allow for content to be created therefore boosting sales and overall profitability of the business. The CEO's main responsibility will be to implement a strategy plan in harmony with the C-Suite objectives, the owner's vision and individual team strategies to achieve long term growth/retention plans in all areas of the business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee day to day operations which consists of customer support, sales and development of the app and our digital products (CX Tech and Product).
  • Provide operations leadership and direction to support the C-Suite/SLT to meet the business objectives.
  • Report on key metrics to identify weaknesses in the business and provide an analytical evaluation of these to prepare for future needs of the business.
  • Be aware of and adhere to all compliance requirements of the business, including supporting legal challenges the business may face such as customer defamation cases.


Technical Skills:


  • Strong understanding of the mobile app and FMCG markets.
  • Ability to analyse and utilise data for effective decision-making across the business.
  • Proven ability to develop financial plans and forecasts to support consistent growth.
  • Capability to achieve targets and deadlines while aligning business needs with innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and potential business risks.
  • Ability to implement continuity plans to mitigate risks.

Experience:


  • Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in an app/web based tech business, ideally within a start-up/scale-up environment. This includes experience with C-Suite/Board participation where significant financial gains were achieved.
  • Extensive experience in providing operational support to senior executive teams encompassing financial, technological, brand, people, and marketing functions. This involves experience in financial management and control, including budget planning, oversight, and cost control.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business owners to translate vision and targets into actionable operational plans.
  • At least 15 years experience at CEO/Exec level, ideally within a start-up/scale-up environment.
  • Track record of successfully growing a small business into a large business at scale.
