Our client assists young people who have had a difficult time managing the expectations of adulthood. Their semi-Independent Living provisions consist of 24-hour staffed accommodations for young people aged 16-18. These provisions cater to young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. They provide a safe environment for them to build positive relationships and empower them to face issues from their past and look towards the future.



Responsibilities:


  • Manage a regulated residential service to achieve outstanding standards.
  • Manage the service day to day
  • Maintain and improve quality standards
  • Promote the rights of each customer and keep their wishes at the center of their care and support


Required Attributes:


  • Experience in administrative duties such as filing, recording, rota preparation, and report writing for Children's Homes
  • Excellent understanding of the needs of people who require care and support at home
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent
  • Commitment to respecting the rights of customers at all times and to promoting their privacy, dignity and independence throughout their lives
  • Knowledge of child development
