As the organisation continues is growth organically and through acquisition they are seeking to appoint a Chief Marketing and Digital Officer to their main board to lead in driving digital transformation to set the business up for the next phase of it’s growth.
The Role
Job Overview:
As the Chief Marketing and Digital Officer (CMDO), you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. You will lead the digital transformation initiatives to enhance our online presence and customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing, brand management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Implement a clear strategy to define what good looks like in developing technology to be an important measure of the voice of the customer
- Drive the development and execution of customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing, technology, and revenue using data-driven insights to optimize results.
- Lead the digital transformation projects to enhance customer engagement.
The Person
- Proven experience in a multi channel retail or hospitality group
- Breadth of leadership across Marketing, Tech, Commercial - ideally gained some commercial P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing strategies that drive growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities..
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
