Job Overview:

As an Account Manager for Appella AI, you will be reporting directly to our CEO in our Paddington, London, UK office. Your main responsibility will be supporting our UK customers in the legal industry and maximising customer retention and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • As the primary account owner, you utilise account planning and customer relationships to identify, deliver and own expansions within your existing account portfolio
  • Leveraging a consultative mindset to identify, track, and guide customers on how they can get the best out of the Appella AI solution enabling successful business desired outcomes and driving customer retention
  • Utilise data-driven decision making to track customer usage and understand how customers can fully get the most out of our AI solutions for both inbound and outbound use cases.
  • Comfortable in front of the IT user / buyer who expects a level of technical understanding when discussing our solutions
  • Work alongside our Technical and Product team during the build process
  • Be the leader in identifying and flagging any potential risks in the customer journey
  • Drive sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to expand the customer base.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a sales, customer success or account manager, preferably for a SaaS company or a company with a technical solution.
  • Experience in the legal sector is preferred
  • Confident in making data-led decisions and using sound business judgment
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A self-starter wanting to work in an agile and fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience in the IT industry or related field and excited to work in Conversational AI
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
