Role Description

This is a full-time role as an SEN Teacher located in Manchester. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for providing support and education to students with special educational needs. Your day-to-day tasks may include developing individualised learning strategies, assessing student progress, adapting curriculum materials, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure students' needs are met.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of various special educational needs and relevant teaching strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the diverse needs of students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, parents, and caregivers
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs
