TCMM Shutter Group specialises in the supply of made-to-measure and DIY window shutters in both B2C and B2B markets. The business was formed in 2002 with flagship retail brand Shutterly Fabulous, soon expanding to include a portfolio of ecommerce brands operating in the UK and North America. In 2021, TCMM Shutter Group was acquired by Mzuri group, a pioneering force in the window coverings market. More recently the business has taken on a number of well-known blinds businesses from within the group and spearheads the partnerships with John Lewis and B&Q.

Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior E-commerce and Web Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Brighton. Leading a small team of trading managers, this role is pivotal in managing our portfolio of sites, driving our online sales and ensuring the smooth operation of our e-commerce platform. The Senior E-Commerce Manager will play a key role in designing and implementing our long term technology strategy and ensuring our sites are efficient and future proofed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce and web management, digital marketing, and web operations, with a proven track record of increasing online revenue and enhancing customer experience.


Salary Range: £60 – 65 k

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Direct reports: 2 – 3


Key Responsibilities:

  • Website and technology strategy: Input into the development of the long-term platform and technology strategy alongside the senior team and central resource.
  • E-Commerce strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to achieve online sales targets and enhance user experience overseeing trading manager plans, pricing and promotional activity.
  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail brand sites and support the trading managers with the e-commerce sites, ensuring they are user-friendly, secure, and up to date and that all brand and product strategies are effectively delivered on our sites.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to drive traffic to the website through SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Product & merchandising: Collaborate with the product managers to ensure customer behaviour and preferences are communicated and implemented in product ranging and merchandising and that products are optimised and supported aligned to the brand strategies.
  • Data Analysis and reporting: Analyse website performance metrics and sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth and input into monthly reporting and budgeting.
  • Customer experience: Ensure a seamless and enjoyable online experience for customers, addressing any issues promptly. Collaborate with the brand managers to bring the brand proposition to life and create engaging and customer centric journeys.
  • Vendor and compliance management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and group partners as required ensuring all contracts and licences are up to date and the sites are compliant.
  • Budget and P & L management: Develop and manage budgets for e-commerce operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Support trading managers in their daily management of the site P & Ls in line with strategy and guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven 5+ years’ experience specifically in e-commerce/website management, preferably in the retail or manufacturing sector
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, platforms and tools.
  • Proficiency in web analytics, SEO, and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and other relevant regulations
  • Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
  • People management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Umbraco and/or Magento
  • Experience with headless website architecture
  • Experience in site migration
