Job Description:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Communications Manager to join our clients team for a 13-month contract, based at their London office. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving measurable outcomes in communications. You will play a crucial role in shaping external communication strategies, building relationships with key stakeholders, and enhancing our brand's reputation on a global scale.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute external communication strategies to captivate global and regional audiences, enhancing our brand identity.
  • Manage relationships with media representatives, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and improve perceptions of our brand.
  • Design and execute external communication campaigns, manage budgets, and set goals to align with business objectives.
  • Lead efforts to protect and enhance our reputation, particularly in areas like content safety, disinformation, and election integrity.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver comprehensive communications plans and prepare leadership for public engagements.


Top Daily Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans to safeguard and enhance our reputation around content safety and election integrity.
  • Collaborate with global and country teams to deliver proactive communications on online safety for teens and kids.
  • Promote the work of the Safety Engineering Centre and manage regional content responsibility efforts.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong prior external communications experience.
  • Experience in electoral politics or government is a plus.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries, professional speechwriting, and familiarity with modern social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
