Are you passionate about IT and looking for an exciting new challenge? My client is seeking a dedicated IT Asset Management Specialist to join their Head Office team. This role is pivotal in managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.


Primary Job Purpose:

  • Oversee IT asset lifecycle, maintaining meticulous records and databases for hardware and software licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
  • Support IT delivery with configuration and deployment of IT assets, manage stock levels, and assist with procurement and deployment activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Support/Setup: Manage IT equipment stock levels, build and provision IT equipment, install and set up devices, and resolve software issues.
  • Asset Management: Handle procurement, maintain inventory records, manage equipment stock levels, and oversee the disposal of IT hardware.
  • Development Connectivity: Manage broadband accounts, liaise with site personnel, and install IT equipment at our developments.
  • Report Generation: Produce regular management reports, maintain an accurate IT asset register, and undertake project work as needed.


Person Specification:

  • Education: ITIL v3/4 and CompTIA qualifications are desirable.
  • Experience: 2+ years in building & deploying IT devices, with a solid understanding of sensitive information handling and legal compliance.
  • Skills: Proficient in IT, service and asset management tools, monitoring tools, and mobile management tools. Excellent communication, attention to detail, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attributes: Ability to work under tight deadlines, willingness to take responsibility, team player, adaptable, and willing to travel.
