We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to lead our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the luxury market segment, with extensive experience in leading marketing initiatives and managing high-performing teams. This role requires a strategic thinker who is adept at project management, business development, and leveraging modern technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing all marketing for the company
  • Developing a marketing strategy for the organization in line with organizational objectives
  • Overseeing organizations marketing budget
  • Creation of marketing material and also liaising with third party agencies and suppliers for this purpose, as and when required.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and organizational identity
  • Planning and execution of online and print marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Strategizing: –The Marketing Manager holds a unique perspective of day-to-day tasks as well as big-picture direction and contributes creative solutions to accomplish departmental goals.
  • Writing –The marketing manager creates new content such as newsletter copy, email campaigns, marketing copy, brochure copy and social media content.
  • Social Media –develop and maintain a coordinated social media presence in order to support the marketing business plan.
  • Email Marketing –execute engaging email communications to promote the organizations programs and offerings.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to develop integrated strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Leverage modern marketing technologies to enhance digital presence, optimize campaigns, and track performance metrics effectively.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and technological advancements, integrating innovative solutions to maintain competitive edge.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with leading luxury hotel brands


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as Director of Marketing
  • Strong background working with luxury brands is essential (agency or in-house)
  • Relevant experience working in a similar role within luxury, lifestyle or travel sectors
  • Strong portfolio of work showcasing a range of channel assets
  • Design experience across channels, with emphasis on luxury magazine/brochure production and video creation, and strong understanding of digital landscape and channels
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is a plus
  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field
