The Role: Market Director, Rail and Transit (UK)
- As the Market Director, you’ll be a senior leader responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the Rail and Transit markets in the UK.
- Representing AtkinsRéalis at both national and global levels, you’ll build and maintain ‘C’ Suite client relationships and senior networks in the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set business strategy and near-term plans to grow revenue and margin from its current foundation of £200m+ revenue p.a.
- Drive great client outcomes and cross-selling within the Market.
- Lead the Rail and Transit market while being part of the UK & Ireland Transportation leadership team.
- Collaborate with the Ireland business to grow our successful portfolio.
- Ensure Profit and Loss accountability and deliver annual targets.

- Recognised profile in the UK infrastructure market with deep understanding of Rail and Mass Transit sectors.
- High performance and pride in delivering great work.
- Commercial savvy, delivery focus, and excellent relationship-building skills.

- Proven track record in driving health and safety culture and performance.
- High mobility and willingness to travel across the UK.
- Degree level or equivalent professional qualifications.

Security clearance:
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
