Job - Internal Sales Engineer

Location - Stockport

Salary up to £40,000


Torque Consulting are currently seeking an Internal Sales Engineer for a world leading client of ours that design, manufactures and distribute various products to sectors such as industrial automation, machinery and renewable energy.


The role will be based on-site in Stockport and be a key position within the company offering the opportunity for career growth and development.


Duties:


  • Manage sales enquiries from initial enquiry to preparation of quotes
  • Work with BDM's in support of project work and customer liaison
  • Identify products to align with customer requirements
  • Manage sales calls and email enquiries and technical enquiries
  • Various other duties as when required.



The ideal candidate:


  • Previous experience as an internal or external sales engineer wishing to become internal.
  • Engineering background with an understanding of mechanical power transmissions
  • Ability to read CAD 3D drawings
  • Manage KPIS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to generate relationships with customers and globally based colleagues
